I wanted to share with you the music video I helped out on a couple months ago. Its officially all done. I was helping out Robert Evans and Curt Aponovich. It was a fun shoot up in Malibu and the house that was rented was unbelievable... right on the cliffs of the beach.

Finals baby!

So in case you haven't noticed. I'm a huge Lakers fan and I'm stoked that they made it to the finals. I so want to get tickets again for the finals. Alex and I went last year and it was soooo much fun. Here's a video from that.

I thought it was so great to get this in the e-mail from Andy and Tara.  I'm shooting there wedding coming up in September in Milwaukee WI.  Watch out for Andy he's a funny one :)

Also, on a sad note ... the lakers lost tonight :( but we are only tied now in the series so we can still win this one :)

Featured artist of the ?

So I'm starting a new series where I will be featuring a new artist either every week or every other or every month.  Not sure yet.  The spotlight will be on some of my favorite new artists, whether it be musicians, graphic design, painting, film, etc.  To start it off I would like to introduce you to Kelli Murray.  I personally don't know her but I stumbled across her website the other day and I love her work.  She is the head designer of Jedidiah Clothing. Here are some pictures of her personal projects. Check them out!

Borders are more fun!

I found these cool borders on-line the other day. I needed some for a guest book I was designing. They are free so go download them here. Borders just make things more fun sometimes. Check them out on a few of my other pics.

Spinach and Artichoke

Happy Thursday!  Great news the Lakers play again tonight!  I'm ready for them to take the series up 2-0.  In the meantime here's a fun little video of when Aimee and I went out to Phoenix to visit Promise and Brian.

Alexis and Chris - Engagement

I met up with Alexis and Chris on Saturday night and we strolled around Downtown Claremont. This was my first time ever to Claremont and it has such a cool downtown. The picture with the Victorian home is actually part of the Claremont Colleges. How cool would it be to have class in that.
A neat story that no other guy wants to hear because it will put them to shame is when Chris proposed to Alexis it wasn't the real ring. He just got a temporary one as he waits for his custom made ring that HE designed himself. He said he had a notepad full of sketches trying to come up with the perfect ring and he did it. Mad props to Chris!

Promise and Brian Wurzell - Wedding Slideshow

Well... here we go. What an amazing wedding it was last week. Such unique ideas went into all the planning and details. Words can't describe it, so thats why I made this slideshow :)  It was such a fun celebration.  The venue was the University of Redlands which was actually really cool.  Aimee and her parents and I ended up staying in Redlands for a couple nights at Brians family's house in Yucaipa. They had a fun pool party/bbq the day after the wedding. 

And welcome back Brian and Promise after having a great honeymoon at the Sandals Resort.

I was fortunate enough to have the Young Americans ask me to come out to one of their workshops to take some pictures for their future marketing. I feel that I got some great shots of the YA's interacting with the students at this school in Pasadena. From what I saw it looks like they have a great show. Here are a few of my favorite images from the day :)

Strawberry Farms - Irvine, CA - Fred and Kathy

I had the privilege of second shooting this beautiful wedding with Christopher Wren awhile back. It was at the beautiful Strawberry Farms in Irvine, CA. What a great venue that place is. The reception was inside the big red barn. Here are a few of my favorite images I took . The flower girls were absolutely adorable :)

I just wanted to share a quick couple of pictures from Brian and Promise's wedding last night.  I had fun being the MC and I was also able to capture some pictures for them as well.  I'll put more up at a later date.  One of the raddest weddings ever ;)

So this Friday I'm the MC for Brian and Promise's wedding, and they want me to lead the Hannah Montana hoedown sometime during the reception.  So I was trying to learn it but it seems impossible. There's just to much going on and it goes by so quick.  Has anyone seen this movie?  

Kate and Lee - Engagement Slideshow

I got an e-mail from Kate back in December about setting up an engagement shoot. She informed me that Lee was stationed over in Iraq at the time so thats why we had to wait until now. But it was worth it. They were so evidently in love and they could not stop smiling during the shoot. It was the hardest thing to sort through the pictures because they were all so good. We were in Encinitas, CA and there happened to be a big street fair going on at the time. So we stopped and got some delicious fresh squeezed lemonade.  Enjoy!

That's always a good sign.  She said YES!

About 10 minutes later I get a phone call from Alyssa telling me that she got engaged!  The original plan was that Alex wasn't going to tell her, but he did and they ended up driving a little closer to me so I could get a better shot.   Where he asked her they were about 425 feet away. (For Photographers: I was using 400mm with a 2x converter on it)
